“Westworld” Season 2 Trailer

The season 2 premiere is getting closer and here is a trailer for the second seoson for you to enjoy. The show will premiere at April 22 on HBO. We can’t wait!

After waiting over a year, Westworld fans can finally breathe easy because the series’ second season is quickly approaching. HBO released the debut trailer during the Super Bowl, which marks the network’s first Super Bowl ad. While that bit is noteworthy, what really got people’s ears perked up were the initial piano notes of the trailer.

The clip immediately sets a haunting tone with a cover of Kanye West’s “Runaway,” which was performed by Westworld composer Ramin Djawadi. Legendary producer Just Blaze pointed out the musical arrangement on Twitter, saying “Ye got a check 4 piano notes. Win.” But let’s put the Yeezy excitement to the side for a moment and get back to the debut trailer.

“This world deserves to die, because this is your world,” Evan Rachel Wood’s character Dolores Abernathy narrates. “We’ve lived by your rules long enough. We can save this world. We can burn it to the ground from the ashes build a new world.” The music gradually becomes more terrorizing as images of murderous android bulls, a bloody man being held against his will, Wood aiming her rifle at the enemy while on a horse, and more flash on the screen. Along with the actress, the show also stars Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal and Luke Hemsworth.

Westworld first premiered in October 2016 and wrapped in December 2016. Season 2, which will continue the previous season’s 10-episode trend, is set to premiere April 22 on HBO.
