New video interview with Ingrid

The interview is from when she was at the San Diego Comic Con last summer!

She hangs with Hector, has a snake tattoo and is one of the best gunslingers in Sweetwater. Let’s hope we get to see more of Armistice in Westworld Season 2.
The final episode of Westworld Season 1 through us for a loop (pun intended). Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) killing Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins) and the other hosts seeking revenge on the guests of the park. One of the more memorable (and grossest) scenes was when Armistice (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) snapped off her arm to attack the Delos security guards. Will we see more of the mysterious lady with the snake tattoo in season two?

Back in 2017, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal sat down with Screen Junkies at San Diego Comic Con before the Westworld panel and discussed her role.

The hosts in Westworld had so many different personalities. Some were just average family folk. Others where evil desperadoes looking for the next bank to rob. As one of Hector Escaton’s (Rodrigo Santoro) gang members, Armistice was one bad hombre that no one wanted to mess with.
When we first met her, she was part of the maze the Man in Black was trying to solve. The infamous snake tattoo that wrapped around her body and face was just part of the puzzle. Armistice explained that the red ink that paints the snake is made from the blood of those killed everyone in her village. She will fill the head of snake with Wyatt’s blood.

Armistice is one character that we all find so very interesting. So is it possible that she will return in season 2? During her interview with Screen Junkies, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal had a very special surprise: “Well, I’ve asked myself that question, and I’ve been thinking that the circumstance of me being here must be a good pointer.”

Yes, it sounded like there will be more badass shootouts in Westworld Season 2. We can look forward to seeing Armistice fixing up her arm and taking out more Delos guards.

What Role Will Armistice Play In Westworld Season 2?
We don’t know the exact role she will play in the war between Delos and the hosts. But if Hector is coming back (the agency that reps Rodrigo Santoro has confirmed it), it makes sense that his has his partner in crime. Not to mention, the hosts will need some expert shooters if they plan on taking over the park or are planning on escaping Westworld.

In an interview with Arstechnica.com Berdal mentioned something that was quite interesting. She mentioned that Armistice was shown as host during the early years of the park. During those scenes, she was shown without the tattoo. Berdal thinks the writers may explain why they chose to move her character away from the guests and put her on the outside where the stories are more intense.

However, we won’t know for sure until Season 2 premieres. Nevertheless, we are excited that Ingrid Bolsø Berdal might be part of the cast and we can’t wait to see her on Westworld. We still have a few months until Westworld Season 2 drops. Until then, we will continue to speculate on anything and everything Westworld.

Happy Holidays!

“Westworld” Season 2 Clips in ‘HBO’s Coming Soon in 2018’ Video

Didn’t catch Ingrid in the video but still very exciting! 🙂

New clips of the Westworld: Season 2 have been released in HBO‘s annual Coming Soon video. The 2018 HBO Coming Soon video features scene snippets and dialogue from the upcoming season of the science fiction TV series.

In the most memorable piece of dialogue, The Man in Black / William (Ed Harris) says: “You wanted me to play your game. I gonna burn it to the ground”

The production of Season 2 of Westworld has not been without bumps in the road.

On Monday last week, HBO said in a statement, “Due to nearby wildfires, ‘Westworld’ stopped production earlier today and will resume filming as soon as it’s safe to do so.” In a separate statement, “Westworld” star Ed Harris also revealed, “So far, we’ve shot some from episode 1, episode 2, some from episode 4, some from episode 10. They’re committed to having the scripts done to shoot so we’re done by Christmas.”

After shutting down operations on Monday, the series immediately resumed production the following day with a Fire Safety Officer on set to ensure the safety of the “Westworld” season 2 cast and crew throughout the shooting day.

Westworld: Season 2 will also star Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Zahn McClarnon, Katja Herbers, Thandie Newton, Talulah Riley, Jonathan Tucker, Louis Herthum, Neil Jackson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Luke Hemsworth, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Tessa Thompson, Shannon Woodward, Steven Ogg, Timothy Lee DePriest, and Jeffrey Wright.

The people and the companies behind the scenes of Westworld: The series is executive produced and written Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Westworld is also executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub, Bryan Burk. Westworld is produced by Bad Robot Productions.

‘Westworld’ Shuts Down Production Due to Massive California Wildfires

Hopefully people will be save if they live close by and that production will be able to begin soon again!

The fast-moving Southern California wildfires on Tuesday have affected filming on HBO’s Westworld, ET has learned.

The show is currently in production on season two, which is expected to premiere sometime in 2018. In a statement on Tuesday, a rep for HBO confirmed the shutdown.

“Due to nearby wildfires, Westworld stopped production earlier today and will resume filming as soon as it’s safe to do so,” the statement reads.

Thousands of Southern Californians fled their homes Tuesday as a massive brush fire spread through parts of Ventura County. The fires have been largely fueled by strong Santa Ana winds, which are expected to last until Thursday. CNN reports that the fire had grown to 50,000 acres by Tuesday afternoon.
